33 – Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)

2018 is so spooky that we had to do one more, so we watched the horror musical: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007).

We explain the history behind the Broadway show, Sondheim, and the long process to getting this on film. We talk the pros & cons of adaptation and how a story about eating people can become so darn popular.

20 – Sausage Party (2016)

What happens when food is alive? We checked out 2016’s Sausage Party to find out and it’s…very adult-orientated.

Sophie & Mitch talk about cartoon food, compartmentalized sentience, and the politics of orgies. We also cover the 2018 Pixar short Bao. Sufficed to say this is a full-sized episode.

The Can’t Can’t

CHECK OUT THE AD HERE: https://goo.gl/Wf9pDd

The ad boys are back in town, just like Tim Horton’s coffee! InADmissible tears down a trusted coffee brand’s terrible ad as they rebuild the “Tim Horton’s Coffee: The Musical” TV spot.

There’s not much to this ad other than snappy editing and terrible music so Quinn and Mikael push it to the extreme. We don’t want quirky coffee: we want classy coffee. Come on, corporations: keep your brands in check!
