19 – Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1971/2005)

A DOUBLE-FEATURE!? Yep. A really one-sided double-feature featuring 1971’s beloved film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and the 2005 one Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

First we watched the ’71 film, then we talked about it; then we watched the ’05 one for Sophie’s first time, and then we had to talk about it. Luckily we’ve both come to a better understanding to what made Willy Wonka such a classic.

And the less said about Charlie the better.
