36 – Free Birds (2013)

Join us on an adventure to stop the first Thanksgiving in the time-travel turkey movie Free Birds (2013).

Two modern turkeys travel back to 1621 to stop the pilgrims from eating their ancestors and to save all of turkey-kind. Yeah. It’s a weird movie. Sophie & Mitch dissect all this weirdness, these anachronisms, and all of our own misconceptions about Thanksgiving in this holiday-ish episode.

20 – Sausage Party (2016)

What happens when food is alive? We checked out 2016’s Sausage Party to find out and it’s…very adult-orientated.

Sophie & Mitch talk about cartoon food, compartmentalized sentience, and the politics of orgies. We also cover the 2018 Pixar short Bao. Sufficed to say this is a full-sized episode.
